Christmas Past

This year’s  Christmas card is one requested by my Uncle Jim.  The farmhouse where he and his 5 siblings grew up is no longer there to go back and visit.   But the memories remain so strong with me, that I know they are so much stronger for them.  Wish I could go back in time to Christmas times spent there.  Would look closely at the faces, take in the smells, and listen to voices and laughter.  I was so close to doing that as I was painting from one of the few photos we have.

Christmas is the day that holds all time together.                                                                                                 Alexander Smith

I told Fred I was going to ‘Google’ you, and sure enough! I was measuring this card to have it framed. You are so talented. I love everything you’ve posted here! Like your friend said, ‘Keep painting!’ 🙂 Tell Tom ‘hello’ for us.
